Once the mine gas is brought to the surface the gas can be commercialised using a number of technologies. CSM Energy project studies (scoping, pre-feasibility, feasibility study) and the pilot program will assist in determining the best utilisation options from a commercial and a technical perspective which can include:
• Enclosed flare;
• “On or off” mine site power generation sales;
• Gas pipeline sales;
• Gas to liquid (CNG/LNG/methanol & derivatives) sales;
• Carbon credit sales;
• On or off” mine site use of water from the CSG operations.
